adidas adiPURE IV

There's a new addition to the adidas adiPURE IV range, and some adidas fans may feel like they've seen this colour before! Due to the success and popularity of the Red/White/Black adidas adiPURE II football boots back in 2009, adidas have released a virtually identical colour-way for the new adiPURE IV football boots!
The new Scarlet/White/Black adiPURE football boots are the third instalment of the latest adiPURE range from adidas and certainly offer a bolder look for the new adiPURE IV boots!

With the latest adiPURE football boots being the fourth release of the PURE range, these heritage based adidas boots have firmly established themselves in the boot market. The adidas adiPURE football boots have proven quality and are worn by some of the truly great players in the game including Kaka, Xabi Alonso and Frank Lampard. The original Red/Black/White adiPURE II football boots were made famous by Brazilian play-maker Kaka, who wore the colour-way during his first season at Real Madrid.

As some of you may already know, the new adiPURE IV football boots are the lightest adiPURE football boots ever made! Adidas have continued with their mission to make the lightest football boot by applying this to their heritage boots. The new adiPURE boots weight 35g less than its predecessor, tipping the scales at just 280g (FG).

The most striking change that adidas implemented on the new adiPURE IV football boots is the repositioning of one of the famous three stripes on the super-soft K-leather upper. They have moved the previous rear stripe to the the front which enhances the authentic, classic retro-look of the adiPURE football boots.

With 'OneTouch' construction the supple K-leather vamp is softer, more breathable and lighter than ever before for a fantastic fit and the ultimate first touch. The new stitching pattern on the vamp supports the natural stretch of the K-Leather for the best fit possible, yet retains consistent performance properties in both wet and dry conditions.

When the new adiPURE IV soccer shoes were introduced, a lot of fans were pleased to see the re-introduction of symmetrical central lacing which was last seen on the original adiPURE football boots. This new lacing system features a shorter K-leather vamp for a great performance fit and fantastic ball feel.

Built on the same last as the previous adiPURE so you can be sure of a consistent fit, the new adidas adiPURE IV football boots feature a lightweight and durable TPU soleplate. Available in a choice of Soft Ground or Firm Ground outsoles, with both incorporating Traxion® technology for optimum grip and stud pressure distribution on all surfaces.

Renowned for comfort, the latest versions of the adidas adiPURE's certainly don't disappoint in this department. As they feature a super-soft padded collar and lining, combined with an ergonomically pre-moulded EVA sock-liner and extra cushioning inserts in the heel for great comfort and shock absorption.

To help reduce the risk of injury and the stress on the Achilles tendon the adiPURE's internal heel stabilizer offers maximum stability and protection, while the shallow external heel counter found on the adiPURE III is retained on the latest incarnation.

The new Scarlet/White/Black adidas adiPURE IV football boots will be priced at around £120 GBP/ $180 USD, and are available to pre-order now for a March 1st release.

Now you've seen the new adidas adiPURE IV football boots we'd love to hear your opinions on this latest colour-way from adidas!
