Adidas Blackout

The latest Predator release from adidas reminded us of the cool blackout football boots adidas have released across their ranges, so here at the SoccerBible we thought it'd be a good idea to put all three boot silo's together to create adidas' very own 'Black Pack'.
It's easy to gauge from fan's reactions when a new blackout boot is unveiled that they're a popular choice. Whether that's because they're reminiscent of the blacked out play test boots the pro's wear before a new boot release, or because of they're understated and subtle style, there's no denying that everyone loves a black-out boot!

The boots we've pulled out from our locker are the most recent adidas Predator X, the adidas adiPure III and the adidas F50 adizero football boots, and we just loved shooting these boots together as they seemed to compliment each other and had an almost stealth appearance!

Credit goes to adidas for releasing their boots as black-outs, because really they are the only brand at the moment who are prepared to do so. Although we would suggest they've gradually warmed to the idea, as you can look from the adiPure through to the Predator to see the boots becoming increasingly blacked out.

The great thing about blackout football boots, other than the obvious classy style they bring to the pitch, is that they seem to call out the boot's performance features. When you look at each individual boot you're not distracted by eccentric colours, instead you focus on the quality of the boot. For example, the adiPure you become aware of the quality of the leather, for the adizero it's the speed outsole and thinner upper, and for the Predator the focus is on the Predator Vamp.

We'd love to hear which are your favourite adidas black-out football boots, and also hear your opinions on which other football boots would look great as a blackout!
