Puma PowerCat 1.10 Tokyo

Puma have released some interesting and adventurous boots over the years (we're thinking Kehinde Wiley / v1.10 Lightning SL's / Unseen Green v1.06) but the new Puma PowerCat Tokyo football boots are the most outrageous boots we have ever seen from the German brand! The Puma PowerCat Tokyo football boots will certainly be a love/hate boot and they've definitely divided opinions here at SoccerBible HQ!
Anyway, we'll leave the decision making up to you! Check out all of our exclusive SoccerBible imagery of the new Puma PowerCat Tokyo soccer shoes and let us know your opinions...

Inspired by the dazzling lights, vibrancy and highly visual culture of the neon jungles of Japan, the Puma PowerCat Toyko football boots feature vivid colours and graphics that encapsulate the energy of one of the worlds most dynamic cities.

The graphics and design of the new Puma PowerCat Tokyo boots are inspired by the Japanese metropolis for players who want to bring something new to the football pitch! Using a daring combination of bright pink, blue and green, Puma have created a boot that looks like it belongs in a Japanese cartoon!

Underneath the outragous exterior, the Puma PowerCat Tokyo football boots are a regular PowerCat. Designed by Puma as a power-purpose boot, the PowerCat was originally released in a series of sober, dark colour-ways! You can't blame Puma for trying something different! They've taken the PowerCat in a new direction that will, if nothing else, get people talking!

We're eagerly awaiting the on-pitch debut of the new Puma PowerCat Tokyo boots! It will be interesting to see who's brave enough to make the first steps onto a pitch in these! PowerCat wearers who come to mind are Vidic, Carrick, Rosicky, Sagna, Djorou, Chiellini, Crouch and Buffon. We can't picture any of these players wearing the Tokyo's, but who knows...hopefully we'll be proved wrong!

The new Puma PowerCat football boots are the first PowerCat boots to feature a synthetic upper. They won't offer the same natural comfort and ball feel the leather upper PowerCats offer but are still a boot that combine great engineering and comfort. The injected 3D Power Shooting Technology is the unique part of the boot that has made it a genuine choice for top professionals who require a solid, reliable boot.

The Puma 3D PST located and built into the boots kicking area is designed to increase shooting power, while maintaining ball touch and feel. The 3D PST achieves increased shot power through its extremely high rebound properties, absorbing more than the typical amount of energy upon ball impact and releasing more power with every shot.

To improve fit, the boots have been formed around Puma's new anatomically-shaped PowerLast, an evolution of the Puma AptoLast. Which once again follows the foot's natural contours for a great fit, but provides more volume in the forefoot and instep allowing the upper to mould to the players foot. To further improve fit and comfort, the anatomically shaped removable sockliner provides cushioning and shock absorption.

We think the new Puma PowerCat Tokyo football boots are set to spark debate like no other. When it comes to the new Puma Tokyo PowerCat football boots, it's impossible not to have an opinion. As always, we'd love to hear yours...
